Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to drive manufacturing excellence, productivity enhancement, and operational efficiency across automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will lead process optimization initiatives, implement lean manufacturing practices, conduct time and motion studies, and drive continuous improvement programs to enhance plant performance, quality, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead industrial engineering activities to improve manufacturing productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and optimize labor utilization.
- Design, analyze, and improve manufacturing processes to reduce cycle times and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and waste reduction initiatives across the plant.
- Develop and maintain production standards, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Identify opportunities for automation, process enhancement, and capacity improvement.
- Monitor key manufacturing KPIs and implement corrective actions to achieve operational targets.
- Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
- Support plant expansion, layout optimization, and line balancing initiatives.
- Analyze manpower requirements and improve workforce productivity through process improvements.
- Mentor and develop engineering teams while fostering a culture of operational excellence.
