ENGINEERING LEAD / SENIOR ARCHITECT - AI GOVERNANCE PLATFORM

An Australia-headquartered AI product company is hiring a senior Engineering Lead to anchor its Hyderabad development centre. This is not a support or maintenance role - you will be a core builder of a greenfield platform that tests, evaluates, and governs AI agents for regulated industries globally.

The platform is built on Rust (execution engine), Go (API services), and Python (ML evaluation logic). You will work directly with an offshore-friendly founding team and US-based architects, with genuine technical ownership from day one.

Role details

Experience : 15 to 20 years

Location: Hyderabad (Kondapur / HITEC City preferred)

Reporting to: Head of Engineering

Team size to grow: 4-8 engineers across squads

What you will build

- Core test execution engine components (Rust/Go)

- Multi-tenant API services with row-level security (PostgreSQL + Go)

- Evaluation pipeline integrations with LLM providers and CI/CD systems

- Compliance-grade audit logging and immutable event store

- SDK and developer tooling for enterprise customers

Required skills

- 10+ years of backend engineering, minimum 2 years in a tech lead or architect role

- Strong Go or Rust - production experience preferred, not just academic

- PostgreSQL at scale - schema design, indexing, RLS, migrations

- Event-driven architecture - Kafka or equivalent

- Experience coordinating with distributed teams across timezones

- Clean code practices - code review, testing culture, CI/CD discipline

- Good to have: LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI API, vector databases, Docker/Kubernetes
