Position: Engineering Head - PEB

Purpose:
Own Design, Estimation and Detailing end to end and retain technical accountability for outsourced work.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Direct the three discipline heads (Design, Detailing & Estimation), resolve technical interfaces and approve technical authority/competence assignments within the agreed structure.
- Keep Estimation and Design in-house. Control external Detailing/Modelling inputs, deliverables, independent acceptance, revisions and sequence without a vendor-to-shop shortcut.
- Authorise technically stable early material scope and mandatory coordinated clash/release readiness; preserve PPC release authority.
- Own engineering-change impact identification and approved dispositions. Ensure client-designed and design-and-build obligations, peer checks and required client approvals are explicit.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 15 - 24 years of experience in managing and executing large PEB/ESS projects.
- Experience with structural steel facility requirements is mandatory.
- Must have relevant structural-steel engineering, design, detailing or estimation experience in the assigned discipline; general civil or CAD experience alone is insufficient.
- Demonstrate competence in plates, rolled and built-up sections, welded and bolted connections, shop and erection information, constructability and revision control.
- Apply the approved design basis and project-specific code requirements without assuming AWS, Indian and European standards are interchangeable.
- Demonstrated role competence: Structural-steel/composite engineering leadership, fabrication/erection interfaces and technical governance.
