Job Description.

In this Role, your responsibilities will be:.

General:

- Work collaboratively across Product Supply Chain Leaders (PSCL) as well as with internal and external suppliers, Operations and strategic product business unit to create end-to-end supply chain plan and network (re)design that reflect all stakeholder inputs and support products launch for the product line in question.

- Develop and execute robust, accurate and on-time supply chain plans by implementing the supply chain processes across the Understand Design Plan Execute methodology.

- Track supply chain SQDCCC metrics, develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive improvements in the Supplier Performance working closely with the Supplier Development Teams and PSCLs.

- Broaden and deepen the relationships with key Grow suppliers into NPD and Cost Out initiatives, plan for growth and capacity requirements, and design for supplier manufacturability, driving efficiencies and cost reductions.

Understand / Design:

- Understand the cost drivers for the categories of materials & services and develop Cost Reduction initiatives funnel working with SBU on NPD and Cost Out Programs on specific product lines.

- Develop a Grow/ Maintain and Exit (G/M/E) Strategy for the category working with the PSCL and Supplier Development Teams for the respective Category.

- Collaborate with P&IC on the planning of inventory in all configuration centers and Manufacturing Operations.

- Work on matching supply with demand, based on regional demands, including phase in / phase out planning and RCCP across the Product Lines by supplier.

- Collaborate with Operations department to perform make or buy analyses.

- Assess Capacity and if the new material, process or service fit within the current internal network, or should be outsourced, either in the short or longer term, as product volume ramps up.

Plan / Execute:

- Collaborate with Product Supply Chain Leaders and SBU to develop partners of choice relationships with key Grow suppliers.

- Plan for growth and capacity requirements, leverage on supplier capabilities for on-time-to-market, cost and launch readiness.

- Gain supplier support and resources for innovation before competitors do, enabling first-mover advantage for new product launches.

- Engage with engineering community to share supplier Ideas and drive design for configuration, supplier manufacturability and BOM cost reduction (VA/VE).

- Collaborate with Supplier Development to set up and optimize the supply and distribution network toward short lead-time and delivery frequency tailored to ABC classification of the components/assemblies working with PSCLs.

- Set up and qualify alternatives for dual or multi-source if new product demand exceeds supply with RCCP.

- Actively Participate in the monthly Buyer Report out meeting to support P&IC managers, buyer/planners and quality managers through fast resolution of escalated / repetitive supplier delivery and quality issues, including roots causes countermeasures (RCCM), and long term effective corrective actions.

- Partner with Supplier Development team to optimize the supply network and resolve supplier performance issues by systematically applying the SPE Framework and Toolkits.

- Assures regulatory compliance within the supply base such as Conflict Minerals, Reach, etc.

- Support product costing and standard cost roll-up by maintaining the correct contracted buy prices in the ERP system.

- Responsible for delivering assigned Savings / Containment Targets for the business by delivering programs related to Net Material Inflation (NMI) / Make V/s Buy (EX 118) and VA/VE BOM Cost Reduction (EX 120) and getting Supplier Contracts Set-up to drive Spend Under Contract Metrics.

For This Role, You Will Need:

- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Logistics, Technical or Business.

- Fluent in English.

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Operations management, Materials management, Sourcing and/or Engineering.

- Experience within manufacturing preferred, including exposure to engineering, sales/marketing and warehousing/distribution.

- Strong negotiation and project management skills.

- Capability in planning and analytics, structured problem solving, facilitating and presentation skills.

- Persuasive communication, influencing & negotiation skills (internally and externally).

- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global / best cost country (BCC) sourcing and logistics optimization initiatives.

- Experience in lean manufacturing preferred.

- Experience with core software applications (ERP), preferably with SAP or Oracle in planning and/or sales and distribution.

- Microsoft Office skills.

- APICS, CIPS or similar Certification preferred.
