Lead - Marketing (10-15 yrs)
Location - Embassy One , Bengaluru
Reporting to - CMO
Role Overview:
The Marketing Lead will be responsible for building and executing Embark's brand and demand generation engine. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, analytical skills, and cross-functional leadership.
You will own the marketing funnel end-to-end-brand visibility, content strategy, digital marketing, events, campaigns, and pipeline generation in partnership with sales and product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Marketing:
- Build and scale Embark's brand identity across digital, social, and offline channels.
- Develop brand messaging, positioning, and storytelling aligned with the company's vision.
- Lead content strategy: blogs, case studies, whitepapers, videos, success stories.
- Manage PR, thought leadership, and executive visibility initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across communication, campaigns, and collateral.
Demand Generation:
- Own the demand-generation strategy to drive qualified leads and revenue pipeline.
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, content syndication, paid ads, SEO/SEM, events, and webinars.
- Collaborate with sales to build ABM (Account-Based Marketing) programs and outbound nurturing flows.
- Track, measure, and optimize campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Improve conversion rates across the funnel-from awareness to MQL to SQL.
Digital Marketing:
- Manage digital channels including website, SEO/SEM, and social media engagement.
- Oversee marketing automation workflows for nurturing and scoring leads.
- Run performance marketing campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Programmatic, etc.) with ROI ownership.
Events & Partnerships:
- Plan and execute events, webinars, and industry engagements.
- Build partnerships with industry bodies, communities, and influencers.
Cross-functional Leadership:
- Work closely with sales, product, HR, and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, designers, and content creators.
- Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team as the function scales.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- 6-10+ years in marketing, with strong exposure to B2B SaaS/technology/professional services (preferred).
- Proven experience in brand marketing and demand-generation roles.
- Demonstrable success in running high-impact digital and content campaigns.
