- Building strategy for own line of business, formulating business plans and annual targets  - Conceptualising trade promotions, initiating and budgeting of campaigns, events and promotions in collaboration with Marketing and Brand  - Coordinating with Sourcing to fix the selling price for the product to traders and managing - sauda- commitments  - Monitoring and reviewing performance, analysing data to track achievement vs targets and directing the team for corrective action  - Monitoring outstanding payments and ensuring collections  - Managing customer relationships and being in touch with market trends, competition, trader and brand positions to capture market demand and enhance market share  - Planning and managing manpower, rightsizing territory strengths and managing talent to effectively enhance performance   Detailed Responsibilities (Major responsibilities of this position) :   - Assessing demand from market study and estimated availability from Sourcing, formulating business strategy and preparing the annual sales plan   - Allocating region wise sales targets, sales promotion budgets and other expenses   - Finalising the price of the day for Packed Himani Best Choice in consultation with procurement team based on market information.   - Offering rates to traders and booking fresh contracts.   - Checking pending contract and estimating further sales for the month.   - Preparing sales forecast for current month and next month along with tentative weekly requirement.   - Sending forecast to Logistics   - Getting next day's despatch plan from the field staff.   - Daily monitoring and fine tuning of production plan.   - Co-ordinating with Purchase (packaging material), Logistics and Procurement team   - Following up with Logistics for despatch and getting despatch details from Plant (invoice wise)  - Getting outstanding list from Accounts and following up for payment.   - Meeting stockists and traders for market information, competitor information and for liquidation of stocks.   - Conducting S & OP meetings (twice a month).   - Conducting weekly Sales meetings/Brand meetings.   - Holding Management committee meetings.   - Providing rate of the day to customers in consultation with procurement team for Institutional Sales of Himani Best Choice Packed and Bulk.   - Booking contract and following up with Logistics for despatch activity.   - Following up with Plant for delivery.   - Following up and receiving payment (RTGS/cheque) as per credit terms including co-ordination with authority for approval when system gets blocked.   - Meeting customers periodically.   - Supervising and monitoring the performance of team   - Approving touring and other expenses
