Role Overview:

We are seeking a forward-thinking Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team and guide the company through its next stage of scaling and strategic growth. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in managing financial operations for venture-backed tech companies, navigating fundraising and investor relations, and establishing robust systems for sustainable expansion. The CFO will serve as a critical partner to the founders and board, driving financial performance, optimizing capital allocation, and ensuring sustainable profitability across markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Growth Enablement:

- Develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth while ensuring long-term profitability and capital efficiency.

- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on expansion planning, new market entry, and investment prioritization.

- Lead financial modeling and scenario planning to guide data-driven decisions making.

- Shape and refine business models to improve unit economics, contribution margins, and return on capital.

Profitability & Operational Efficiency:

- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance, cost drivers, and ROI across regions and functions.

- Implement revenue optimization frameworks across pricing and occupancy.

- Drive cost-efficiency through data-led decisions and scalable financial systems.

- Partner with Operations to align financial goals with property performance and service quality.

Fundraising & Capital Management:

- Manage current investor relationships and lead future fundraising.

- Optimize the companys capital structure and liquidity to support sustainable expansion.

- Ensure investor confidence through consistent, transparent reporting and board-level engagement.

Financial Control & Governance:

- Build a world-class finance function with strong controls & compliance.

- Oversee all accounting, audit, tax, and treasury functions across markets.

- Implement scalable systems and processes that ensure accuracy, speed, and insight.

Leadership & Team Development:

- Build and mentor a high-performing finance and FP&A team capable of supporting rapid growth.

- Act as a strategic partner for cross-functional leaders, bringing commercial and operational insight.

Qualification & Experience:

- CA with 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, including at least 3 years as CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent in a high-growth start up.

- Proven success in driving profitability and financial discipline during periods of rapid growth.

- Deep understanding of financial modeling, pricing, forecasting, and cost optimization.

- Exceptional communication skills and board-level executive presence.
