
Role Brief
The Senior Manager - Talent Management & OD is responsible for driving the organization's talent and capability strategy to build a future-ready workforce. The role integrates talent management, leadership development, and learning initiatives to ensure strong leadership pipelines, enhanced employee capabilities, and alignment with business goals. It focuses on designing and implementing frameworks for talent identification, succession planning, competency development, and capability building, while fostering a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence. The role collaborates closely with business leaders, HRBPs, and COEs to deliver impactful, scalable interventions and ensure long-term talent sustainability.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement talent management frameworks including succession planning, career pathing, and high-potential identification
- Drive leadership development initiatives to build strong managerial and future leadership pipelines
- Lead capability-building initiatives across functional, behavioural, and leadership domains
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and deploy customized learning interventions aligned to business priorities
- Develop and institutionalize competency frameworks to guide talent assessment and development
- Build and manage organization-wide learning programs and training calendars
- Foster a continuous learning culture through blended learning approaches and technology (LMS, digital platforms)
- Evaluate effectiveness of talent and learning initiatives using data-driven insights and feedback mechanisms
- Partner with HRBPs, business leaders, and external partners to deliver impactful OD and learning interventions
- Drive cultural alignment and change management initiatives to strengthen organizational effectiveness
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- 10+ years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, or OD roles
- MBA or equivalent in HR/Organizational Development or related field; certifications in L&D/OD preferred
- Strong expertise in succession planning, leadership development, and competency frameworks
- Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale learning and capability-building programs
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, LMS platforms, and learning analytics
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills
- Strong strategic thinking with a focus on execution and measurable outcomes
