Electrical Lead

Job Description:

Electrical Lead to drive end-to-end electrical engineering design and execution activities within a large-scale engineering/manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading electrical system design, ensuring compliance with international standards, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions within project timelines.

Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end electrical design and engineering activities for large-scale projects

- Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics

- Handle LV/MV power distribution system design and validation

- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination

- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and international electrical standards

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Civil, Automation, Projects)

- Review vendor documents, drawings, and technical specifications

- Drive project execution, troubleshooting, and site support activities

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and design teams

- Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation and milestones

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong expertise in Electrical Design Engineering (Industrial / EPC / Automotive)

- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN / ETAP

- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and industrial automation (preferred)

- Strong understanding of power systems, protection, and safety standards

- Leadership, stakeholder management, and project ownership skills

Education: B.E / B.Tech Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
