Role Description


- As the Quality Manager for Creative Production Services, you will be the driving force behind quality excellence across all creative outputsincluding print, digital, audio-video, and packaging prepress deliverables.

- This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring that every asset meets the highest standards of accuracy, consistency, and client satisfaction.

- You will lead, train, and motivate a team of 35 quality analysts and checkers, fostering a culture of precision, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Your responsibilities include reviewing design files for technical accuracy, managing colour fidelity, enforcing prepress standards, and resolving production issues in collaboration with design and QC teams.

- You will also implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS), generate regular quality reports for internal and client stakeholders, and use data-driven insights to elevate performance across the board.

- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in creative production quality, strong leadership skills, and a proactive mindset to guide the team and optimize output quality at scale.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

- Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure all designs meet predefined quality standards and client requirements.

- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements in the design and production process to enhance quality and efficiency.

- Technical Proficiency: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant software and tools to ensure high-quality design outputs.


- Compliance & Documentation: Adhere to industry regulations and maintain comprehensive documentation for all quality assurance activities.


- Team Collaboration & Training: Work closely with all the teams and provide feedback to enhance overall quality awareness and skills.


- Quality Standards: Agree on standards and define clear quality methods for the team.


- Control Systems: Establish and manage controls and documentation, including error analysis reports.


- Checklist Creation: Develop a checklist with the department head to ensure task completion.


- Performance Audits: Evaluate weaknesses and suggest improvements.


- Artwork Inspection: Ensure artwork aligns with briefs and guidelines.


- Management Support: Assist the leadership team as needed.


- Deadline Adherence: Maintain focus on meeting deadlines, compile and update studio schedules, inform departments about project status, and manage workload distribution.


- Performance Dashboard: Create a personal dashboard based on error logs and plan training to minimise mistakes.


- ISO Compliance: Stay aware of ISO9001, 14001, 27001 requirements, implement a risk-based approach and record performance based on assigned tasks.

Preferred Qualification & Technical Skills:


- A good standard of English, especially grammar and spelling.


- Strong spoken and written communication skills.


- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quality assurance


- Knowledge in Standard Proofreading marks with the PDCA (PlanDoCheckAct) approach.


- Experience in client-facing quality reporting and audit readiness


- Strong understanding of prepress and allied standards will be an advantage
