Position Title: Media Manager


Location: India (Remote) West Coast Hours Support Required


Reports To: Media Director / Account Manager


About the Role


We are looking for a strategic and operationally-savvy Media Strategist/Coordinator/Planner to support our onshore media team in managing digital advertising campaigns across search, social, and programmatic platforms. This role bridges strategy and execution, requiring hands-on platform management, keyword optimization, ad placement coordination, and clear reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. You will play a critical role in campaign activation, day-to-day optimization, and translating data insights into strategic recommendations.


Key Responsibilities


- Digital Platform Management: Act as in-platform manager for digital advertising platforms, overseeing campaign setup, optimization, and day-to-day operations.


- SEM & Google Ads Expertise: Manage Google Ads and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns, including keyword bidding, audience targeting, and performance optimization.


- Keyword Research & Strategy: Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to determine strategic goals, identify high-opportunity keywords, and recommend campaign adjustments.


- Ad Placement & Tagging: Coordinate ad placements across platforms, implement proper tagging strategies, and ensure accurate tracking of campaign performance.


- Campaign Activation & Optimization: Drive campaign activation, manage daily campaign recommendations, implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices, and continuously optimize performance metrics.


- Reporting & Coordination: Prepare comprehensive campaign reports, coordinate reporting across teams, and present insights to clients and stakeholders.


- Data Technologies: Demonstrate working knowledge of digital data technologies including RMNs, DMPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, digital pixel tracking, and site tagging.


- Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate complex data insights, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.


- Client Support: Work directly with clients to understand objectives, provide campaign performance updates, and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement.


Required Qualifications & Experience


- 2 - 3 Years of Experience in media planning, SEM management, digital advertising, or platform management roles.


- Platform Expertise:


- Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) or similar SEM platforms


- In-platform campaign management and optimization experience


- Familiarity with digital advertising ecosystems (programmatic, social, display)


Strategic Skills:


- Ability to analyze keyword research data and develop strategic recommendations


- Experience implementing SEO/SEM strategies and best practices


- Strong analytical skills for evaluating campaign performance


- Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of digital data technologies (RMNs, DMPs, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, pixel tracking, site tagging)


- Communication Skills: Ability to present complex data insights clearly to clients and cross-functional teams.


- Operational Excellence: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.


Preferred Qualifications


- Certification in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or similar platform certifications.


- Experience with marketing automation, CRM, or CDP platforms.


- Exposure to bid management tools (Marin Software, Kenshoo, Rocket Fuel, etc.


- Background in media agency or corporate marketing environments.


- Knowledge of social media advertising (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) beyond SEM.


- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).


Hours: West Coast US hours (Pacific Time) approximately 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM IST


Weekly Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) or as agreed upon for contract roles
