Position Title: Program Manager - HRMS Projects

Location: Pune

Reporting To: Director Operations

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and govern multiple high-value HRMS implementation projects across enterprise clients. The role involves end-to-end ownership of program delivery, stakeholder management, governance, risk mitigation, and ensuring successful execution of HR transformation projects within defined scope, timelines, quality, and budget.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in HRMS implementations, program governance, cross-functional coordination, client engagement, and large-scale enterprise HRMS Implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Governance & Delivery


- Manage multiple concurrent HRMS implementation projects/programs across geographies and business units.

- Drive end-to-end project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and hyper care support.

- Establish robust governance frameworks, reporting cadence, RAID management, and escalation mechanisms.

- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, scope, and quality standards.

- Monitor overall program health and proactively address delivery risks and bottlenecks.

Stakeholder Management

- Act as the primary interface for executive stakeholders, client leadership, and internal management teams.

- Conduct steering committee meetings, governance reviews, and status reporting.

- Build strong client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.

- Align business expectations with delivery capabilities and project objectives.

HRMS Functional & Technical Oversight

Oversee implementation of HRMS modules such as:

- Employee Self-Service (ESS)

- Onboarding

- Payroll

- Time & Attendance

- Leave Management

- Travel & Expense Management

- Performance Management

- Learning Management

- Separation Management

- Coordinate integrations with third-party systems including ERP, finance, biometric, payroll,

and identity management platforms.

- Ensure effective data migration, testing, UAT, and cutover activities.

Team & Vendor Management

- Lead cross-functional teams including project managers, business analysts, consultants, developers, QA, and support teams.

- Manage implementation partners, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Risk & Compliance Management

- Ensure timely mitigation of risks and issues.

- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, audit requirements, data privacy, and security standards.

- Drive change management and adoption initiatives.

Financial & Commercial Management

- Track project financials including forecasting, revenue and invoicing milestones.

- Support contract management, scope control, and change request governance.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, HR, Management, or related field.

- MBA/PGDM preferred.

- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications preferred.

Experience Required:

- 12-18 years of overall experience with at least 8+ years in managing enterprise HRMS/HCM implementation programs.

- Proven experience handling multiple high-value projects simultaneously.

- Experience managing large enterprise clients and delivery teams.

- Strong understanding of HR processes and HRMS ecosystems.

- Expertise in program management methodologies and governance frameworks.

- Knowledge of HR operations, payroll, compliance, and workforce management.

Technical Skills:

- Understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data migration concepts.

- Exposure to reporting and analytics dashboards.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong communication and presentation abilities.

- Problem-solving and decision-making capability.

- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
