About the Role :
We are looking for a Product Manager who can bridge data, domain, and delivery in a technically demanding environment. You will own product areas within EigenPrism, working closely with a distributed engineering team to define and ship features for exposure management, accumulation analytics, and AI-powered underwriting workflows.
We are open to candidates whose 57 years of experience spans product management, hazard assessment, geospatial analytics, property underwriting, portfolio or exposure management, risk assessment, or client-facing roles in insurance or risk technology. Domain expertise is valued but strong analytical instincts and the ability to learn are more important than deep credentials in any one area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned platform areas, writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria that a distributed engineering team can execute against.
- Lead discovery client interviews, usage analysis, stakeholder alignment to identify gaps and validate priorities before committing to roadmap.
- Collaborate with application engineering teams on sprint planning, design reviews, and delivery milestones.
- Support client onboarding and transitions in partnership with Customer Success, ensuring data pipelines and platform workflows meet client expectations.
- Contribute to sales support and demos translate complex geospatial and risk capabilities into clear value propositions for underwriters, risk managers, and portfolio analysts.
- Maintain roadmap alignment across stakeholders using standard product management tools; communicate product decisions clearly and consistently.
Required Qualifications :
- 5 - 7 years of total experience in product management, hazard assessment, geospatial analytics, property underwriting, portfolio or exposure management, risk assessment, or a client-facing role in insurance or risk technology.
- Demonstrated ability to write precise, actionable requirements and work effectively with a remote, cross-functional engineering team.
- Comfort working with data reading and interpreting location-based datasets, understanding risk concentration and exposure concepts, working with analytics platforms.
- Strong written communication: requirements, specs, and stakeholder updates that are clear and unambiguous.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and standard product management and project tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in natural hazard risk, climate risk analytics, or exposure management familiarity with platforms such as RMS, AIR, Verisk, Oasis LMF, or equivalent.
- Experience with P&C insurance workflows across any part of the value chain: underwriting, broking, portfolio management, or reinsurance.
- Familiarity with geospatial concepts and location-based data enough to understand what the platform does and communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts, particularly in the context of data products or workflow automation.
- Experience with multi-vendor data environments and integrating third-party data sources into a platform product.
- Experience translating technical platform capabilities into client-facing demos or sales support materials.
Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. (Required)
- MBA or M.Sc. in a relevant field preferred.
