IDENTIFICATION: Title EHS Head Department HR Reporting Relationship HR-Head II. SUMMARY: Experience required: 15+ Years III. RESPONSIBILTIES: Safety:- - Identify and recommend applicable & required safety standards to ensure a safe working environment and formulate rules to ensure that safety standards are met. - Train operation staff on safety rules and conduct safety audits & safety committee to ensure adherence to safety rules and standards. - Identify danger prone areas along with requirements for any additional safety norms / procedures. - Monitor the production operation to ensure adherence to safety norms on an on-going basis and ensure periodic maintenance & servicing of the equipment. - Conduct regulatory tests for equipment Root Cause Analysis & Action Planning:- - Conduct Accident Investigation by being part of a cross functional team. - Analyse accident training, identify possible root causes, develop preventive and corrective steps and ensure proper implementation of the same. MIS Reporting:- - Prepare required MIS Reports for submission to HOD and other relevant interface - Accident Report ( As and when required) - Safety Alerts/ Safety Bulleting to entire staff. - Safety Audit Reports IV. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: - Prolonged periods of sitting. - Ability to interface with a computer for long periods of time. - Frequent movement over large manufacturing floor area. - Constant utilization of speaking and listening skills, both person to person and telephonically. - Frequent local travel requirements in & around Bawal.
