EHS Head

Description:

- Ensure full compliance with statutory EHS laws and regulations specific to high-rise construction and building operations.

- Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific EHS policies, procedures, and control measures.

- Lead hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent incidents.

- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and monitor contractor compliance.

- Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are taken.

- Organize and deliver EHS training, inductions, and awareness programs for staff and contractors.

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.

- Foster a strong safety culture and promote continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory:

- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field from central or state government.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.) are often required.

- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in managing EHS for large-scale or high-rise construction projects is preferred.
