Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Business Analyst to join our team.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years of total experience with a proven track record of driving significant business and technology initiatives.

This role requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of Business Analysts while also performing hands-on analysis of complex, enterprise-level systems.

You will be the critical link between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into clear, actionable, and value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship:

- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Conduct quality assurance reviews of BA deliverables, ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with business goals.

- Contribute to the standardization of best practices, templates, and methodologies across the BA function.

Business Analysis & Requirements Management:

- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for complex business domains and multi-module applications.

- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders at all levels to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.

- Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, including user stories, process flows, data models, and acceptance criteria.

- Manage and maintain the product and sprint backlogs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, ensuring readiness for development and alignment with the product roadmap.

- Drive process modeling, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize business operations and system efficiency.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

- Act as the primary liaison between business units, IT development, Quality Assurance, and project management teams.

- Collaborate with technical architects and developers to assess solution feasibility and ensure technical designs meet business requirements.

- Support the development of test strategies and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.

- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve requirement conflicts, address implementation challenges, and drive data-backed decision-making.

- Manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality delivery of all analysis artifacts.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

Education & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role managing or mentoring teams.

- Proven experience working with enterprise-level systems and multi-module applications.

Core Skills & Technical Proficiency:

- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban), including experience managing product and sprint backlogs.

- Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across various teams and departments.

- Expertise in process modeling, data flow diagrams, and root cause analysis techniques.

- Proficiency in requirements management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and other process mapping tools.

- Leadership and mentoring abilities are paramount.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with statistical tools and data analysis is a strong plus.

- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and automated testing tools.

- Relevant professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), CSPO (Certified Scrum Product Owner), PMP (Project Management Professional), or others
