Responsibilities : - Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the goals and objectives of Educate-online.org in a remote work environment, with a specific focus on the EDTECH industry in India. - Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent for various roles, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process that aligns with the specific requirements of the EDTECH sector. - Oversee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to succeed in a remote work environment within the EDTECH industry. - Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions, while adhering to legal and ethical standards specific to the Indian EDTECH industry. - Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement learning and development initiatives that enhance employee skills and support career growth within the context of the EDTECH sector. - Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations specific to the Indian EDTECH industry. - Maintain accurate employee records, handle confidential information with discretion, and generate HR reports as needed, taking into account the unique requirements of the EDTECH sector in India. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements specific to the Indian EDTECH industry, ensuring compliance and recommending improvements to HR policies and practices. - Foster a positive work culture by organizing virtual team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and other initiatives that promote employee engagement and satisfaction within the context of the EDTECH industry. - Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance evaluations, promotions, and employee feedback, with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the EDTECH landscape in India. Qualifications : - Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certifications are a plus. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar roles, within an EDTECH company in India. - Extensive knowledge of the Indian EDTECH industry, including its unique challenges, trends, and legal and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates specifically within the EDTECH sector in India. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the EDTECH industry. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a remote work setting. - Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset within the context of the Indian EDTECH industry. - Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other HR tools/software - In-depth knowledge of best practices in employee engagement, performance management, and learning and development within the context of the Indian EDTECH industry. - Experience in implementing and managing remote work policies and practices, with a focus on fostering a productive and inclusive remote work culture. - Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity. - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate remote teams. - Proficiency in using collaboration and communication tools such as video conferencing platforms, project management systems, and instant messaging applications. - Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adjusting to changing priorities and requirements. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze HR metrics and data to drive informed decisions and improvements.
