Role Overview:

- We're looking for a strategic and execution-focused Head of Sales to drive Edgistify's revenue across both B2B enterprise and D2C/B2C segments. This role demands a deep understanding of the logistics ecosystem, a builder's mindset, and the ability to design and execute scalable GTM strategies while leading a high-performing national sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy & Execution:

- Own the end-to-end revenue function across warehousing, fulfillment, and last-mile services.

- Develop and execute GTM strategy aligned with Edgistify's growth phase - from 1-10 and 10-100 scaling.

- Build and manage sales forecasts, revenue targets, and region-wise plans.

Consultative & Solution Selling:

- Engage enterprise clients (FMCG, retail, pharma, D2C, e-commerce) with tailored supply chain solutions.

- Work closely with operations, tech, and implementation teams to create custom proposals and pricing.

- Lead RFQ/RFP responses and enterprise negotiations.

Sales Operations & Process Building:

- Define sales processes, performance metrics, dashboards, and review cadences.

- Optimize funnel management, conversion ratios, and forecasting accuracy through data insights.

- Leverage CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) for pipeline tracking and reporting.

Team Leadership & Scale-Up:

- Build and manage a high-performance, multi-regional sales team (inside, enterprise, KAM).

- Define hiring plans, coach and mentor team members, and instill a culture of accountability and ownership.

- Set up sales review structures, incentive plans, and knowledge-sharing practices.

Client Relationship & Market Development:

- Own key client relationships and drive strategic account expansion and renewals.

- Cultivate CXO-level connects in target sectors to accelerate enterprise sales cycles.

- Represent Edgistify at industry events, forums, and client roadshows.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Sales Leadership & Growth DNA

- 7+ years in B2B sales, with 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven experience scaling revenue from early stages (0-1-10) in a high-growth environment.

- Strong track record of hitting revenue targets and closing enterprise deals.

Domain Expertise:

- Deep understanding of warehousing, 3PL, fulfillment, and logistics operations.

- Experience selling solutions in the supply chain space to sectors like FMCG, e-commerce, retail, pharma, etc.

Commercial & Strategic Acumen:

- Expertise in deal structuring, custom pricing, and RFQ/RFP handling.

- Ability to analyze sales performance, forecast accurately, and adjust GTM plans accordingly.

Consultative Selling Excellence:


- Skilled in diagnosing client needs and building solution-based narratives and proposals.

- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value-added solutions.

Tech & Data-Driven:

- Proficient in using CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and analytics dashboards.

- Comfortable using sales data to make informed decisions and scale customer acquisition efforts.

Cultural & Startup Fit:

- High ownership mindset with agility, hustle, and comfort working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.

- Willing to get hands-on when needed and lead by example in client meetings, escalations, and key closings.

- Strong communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Strategy, or related

- Experience leading sales at a tech-enabled logistics/fulfillment startup or 3PL.

- Network in relevant industries (FMCG, D2C, pharma, retail) is a plus.

Salary - 25 - 30 lacs per annum + ESOPS + Other Perks
