About LoB : Global Risk and Assurance is a centralized risk group which oversees the risk at the organization level and is responsible for identification, quantification, monitoring and management of risk. Establish an integrated risk management framework for all aspects of risks across the Organization. 3. About Profile : Edelweiss has one of the biggest algorithmic trading setup in India. Three of the trading businesses - Proprietary Desk, Institutional Equities & HNI Broking are using various types of algorithms for trading in various exchanges (domestic as well as international) across asset classes. Given the non-symmetric risk posed by algorithmic trading, a dedicated team is setup within GRG which focuses on all the risks emanating from algorithmic trading and trading technologies across the organization. This profile is for senior role within this team. The candidate will be managing a team of 3-4 members. The person will be the single point of contact for businesses for seeking approval for any new algorithmic trading strategy as well as associated software / hardware applications. An important aspect of this role will be to understand the underlying technical complexities and identifying the potential risks emanating from the same. In a layman term it is all about converting unknown risks into known risks. And then based on this understanding, the person has to suggest controls (either systemic or process driver) for mitigating the same. This person in this role will also play an important role in the defining the landscape of the future growth of algorithmic trading within Edelweiss and for the same he / she will be involved in frequent communication with senior leaders across businesses. Mandatory Requirements : 1. Work experience of 3+ years as BA on Algorithms Development side and sound understanding of trading platforms. 2. Knowledge of various options model 3. Know how of Compliance and Exchange mechanism for algo framework and approval. Other Requirements : 1. Good educational qualification (preferably for Tier 1 engineering college) 2.
