Description:


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Marketing Manager to lead online growth, digital performance, marketplace strategy, and brand visibility for a rapidly scaling jewellery startup. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience within the jewellery industry, strong digital marketing expertise, and the ability to scale D2C revenue through data-driven strategies.


Key Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Growth & Performance Management

- Develop, execute, and optimize the brands online growth strategy across D2C and marketplaces.

- Manage end-to-end e-commerce operations including cataloging, pricing, promotions, and inventory alignment.

- Drive user acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies to increase revenue and profitability.


2. Digital Marketing & Campaign Optimization

- Own performance marketing across Google Ads, Meta, Instagram, affiliate channels, and retargeting platforms.

- Develop full-funnel campaigns focused on traffic, conversion, ROAS, and customer lifecycle value (CLV).

- Collaborate with creative teams to build compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and product stories.


3. Analytics, Insights & Reporting

- Track and analyze daily/weekly KPIs: Traffic, CAC, ROAS, Conversion rate, AOV, Repeat purchase rate

- Use GA4, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools to generate insights and optimize digital performance.

- Conduct competitor and category analysis to refine strategy.


4. Website & Customer Experience Optimization

- Oversee the e-commerce website experience including UI/UX, navigation, search, speed, and CRO improvements.

- Implement A/B testing for landing pages, creatives, messaging, and checkout flows.

- Coordinate with tech teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.


5. Marketplace & Partner Management

- Manage marketplace operations (if applicable): Myntra, Ajio, Nykaa, Amazon, etc.

- Drive product listing optimization, reviews, ratings, and merchandising.

- Plan campaigns aligned with platform events (Big Days, Festive Drops, Launches).


6. Brand Storytelling & CRM

- Work with brand & content teams to build a strong digital presence that reflects the jewellery brands ethos.

- Lead CRM initiatives including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and loyalty campaigns to increase repeat purchases.


Requirements

- Mandatory: Previous experience in e-commerce marketing for a jewellery brand (D2C or marketplace).

- Strong understanding of digital performance metrics, user acquisition, and conversion optimization.

- Hands-on knowledge of GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, marketing automation tools, and Shopify.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Attributes

- Experience with D2C brand scaling.

- Strong understanding of jewellery consumer behaviour.

- Ability to work cross-functionally across design, production, brand, operations, and finance.

- Creative mindset with performance-driven execution.
