Role Overview:

As an Ecommerce Marketplace Manager, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end growth and operational efficiency of our clients' digital storefronts. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless product availability and optimal brand positioning. This role is critical in shaping the revenue trajectory of our partners by translating market data into actionable sales strategies, ultimately enhancing customer experience and maximizing marketplace profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies to increase market share and improve product visibility across major e-commerce platforms.

- Oversee end-to-end inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize out-of-stock instances, and reduce carrying costs.

- Formulate and implement data-driven pricing strategies that balance competitive positioning with margin protection and profitability goals.

- Lead online product management initiatives, including catalog optimization, content enhancement, and search ranking improvements to drive conversion rates.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales planning with promotional calendars and seasonal demand fluctuations.

- Monitor marketplace performance metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership to refine business strategies and address operational bottlenecks.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale e-commerce operations with a deep understanding of marketplace algorithms and seller central tools.

- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets to derive pricing and inventory strategies that directly impact the bottom line.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external platform account managers.

- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, specifically in navigating supply chain disruptions and platform-specific policy changes.

- A bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a related field, complemented by a track record of managing high-growth product categories.

- High degree of adaptability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Gurugram, managing multiple priorities in a high-pressure setting.

- 5 - 10 years of professional experience in e-commerce, category management, or online retail operations.
