Key Responsibilities:

Business & P&L Ownership:

1. Own Annual Business Plan (ABP/AOP) for marketplace channels with accountability for Revenue, Gross Margin, and Contribution.

2. Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance vs targets and course-correct proactively.

Marketplace Growth & Performance Marketing:

1. Lead PPC / AMS / platform-led marketing with a focus on portfolio-level ROAS, not just campaign efficiency.

2. Balance growth spends with profitability, brand visibility, and repeat purchases.

3. Partner with agencies/platform teams to optimize bids, keywords, and creatives.

Portfolio & Category Strategy:

1. Define channel-wise assortment strategy, hero SKUs, and launch sequencing.

2. Analyze category trends, search behavior, and competition to identify white-space opportunities.

3. Work closely with R&D/NPD teams on data-backed inputs for new product launches and line extensions.

Supply Chain & Inventory Excellence:

1. Partner with supply chain and demand planning to maintain high in-stock rates (95-98%+).

2. Drive optimal inventory deployment (FBA/FBF/Regional Warehouses) to enable fast delivery SLAs.

3. Proactively manage aging inventory, stock rotations, and liquidation strategies.

Marketplace Operations & Account Management:

1. Own end-to-end marketplace operations: listings, forecasting, promotions, order management, returns, and reconciliation.

2. Act as the primary point of contact for Amazon/Flipkart category and account managers.

3. Resolve account health issues, penalties, claims, and policy escalations.

Listing & Content Optimization:

1. Drive listing hygiene through regular audits-titles, keywords, creatives, A+ content, and pricing.

2. Monitor competitive benchmarks and ensure continuous optimization.

Analytics, Dashboards & Insights:

1. Build and maintain real-time dashboards tracking CAC, AOV, LTV, conversion, repeat rate, and contribution margins.

2. Move reporting from manual MIS to automated BI-driven insights.

3. Generate actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.

Competitive & Market Intelligence:

1. Track competitor pricing, promotions, share-of-voice (SOV), and new launches.

2. Recommend tactical interventions based on market movements.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Experience: 4-8 years in eCommerce or marketplace-led growth roles.

2. Industry Preference: FMCG / Beauty / Personal Care / Consumer Brands.

3. Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Amazon & Flipkart (Seller Central, AMS, promotions, account health).

4. Commercial Acumen: Solid understanding of unit economics-logistics, commissions, returns (RTO), discounts, and margins.

5. Data-Driven: Comfortable working with dashboards, BI tools, and performance metrics.

6. Cross-Functional Strength: Proven ability to work with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product teams.

7. Mindset: Owner mentality with bias toward execution, problem-solving, and continuous optimization.
