Description:


The E-Commerce Lead is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing the companys online sales strategies. This role owns the e-commerce roadmap, drives revenue growth, enhances the customer experience, and ensures seamless operations across digital platforms. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of online consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

- Develop and implement the overall e-commerce strategy to meet revenue and growth targets.

- Identify new online business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive insights.

- Define KPIs and performance metrics for digital sales channels.

Website & Platform Management:

- Oversee the end-to-end management of the e-commerce website, marketplace portals, and digital storefronts.

- Coordinate with UX/UI teams to ensure an optimized customer journey and seamless navigation.

- Monitor website performance, functionality, and merchandising.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

- Manage product listings, catalog accuracy, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.

- Collaborate with marketing to launch digital advertising, SEO/SEM, and email campaigns.

- Track performance metrics such as conversion rates, average order value, CAC, and ROAS.

Operations & Customer Experience:

- Work with supply chain and logistics teams to maintain inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and timely delivery.

- Ensure high customer satisfaction by improving return processes, support workflows, and post-purchase engagement.

- Maintain compliance with platform standards, payment gateways, and security protocols.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with product, finance, and brand teams to align online offerings with business goals.

- Manage agency partners, external vendors, and technology partners where required.

Analytics & Reporting:

- Analyze website traffic, sales, customer behavior, and campaign performance.

- Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and recommend data-driven improvements.

- Implement A/B tests to optimize performance and improve user experience.
