Position: Head - E-commerce
Location: NCR
Role Purpose:
The Head - eCommerce will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end digital commerce strategy across marketplaces, D2C platforms, and omnichannel integration. The role will drive revenue growth, enhance digital consumer experience, and build a scalable e-commerce ecosystem aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce Strategy & Business Growth:
- Define and execute the e-commerce roadmap aligned with overall business and brand strategy.
- Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability across all online channels.
- Build and scale omnichannel capabilities integrating D2C, marketplaces, and offline channels.
- Develop digital channel strategies across core and emerging product categories.
- Identify new growth opportunities including D2C expansion, quick commerce, and international e-commerce.
2. Marketplace & D2C Management:
- Lead end-to-end management of key marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other relevant platforms.
- Manage and optimize the organization's D2C platform including traffic, conversion, customer experience, and revenue.
- Drive assortment planning, pricing strategy, product listings, content optimization, and promotions.
- Ensure strong product visibility, conversion rates, and brand representation across digital channels.
3. Digital Revenue & P&L Ownership:
- Own e-commerce P&L including revenue, margins, marketing investments, and channel profitability.
- Drive digital sales planning, forecasting, and growth tracking.
- Monitor KPIs including GMV, revenue growth, conversion rate, CAC, ROI, and customer lifetime value.
4. Digital Marketing & Consumer Growth:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to drive performance marketing, SEO, SEM, affiliate marketing, and digital campaigns.
- Drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
- Develop personalization, loyalty programs, and CRM-led digital initiatives.
5. Supply Chain & Operations Integration:
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory planning.
- Optimize inventory availability, delivery timelines, and fulfillment efficiency.
- Enhance overall customer delivery experience through operational excellence.
6. Technology & Digital Transformation:
- Lead implementation and enhancement of e-commerce platforms, OMS, ERP, CRM, and analytics tools.
- Leverage data analytics and automation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Drive adoption of digital tools for better forecasting, inventory planning, and customer insights.
7. Stakeholder Management & Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT.
- Manage relationships with marketplace partners, technology vendors, and digital agencies.
- Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team.

Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 12-18 years of experience in e-commerce, digital business, or omnichannel leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing marketplace and D2C channels in consumer durables, appliances, electronics, or FMCG sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling e-commerce businesses and managing P&L.
