Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Ads Lead to head the advertising function across E-commerce and Quick Commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performance marketing, campaign strategy, and revenue optimization.
This role involves leading a cross-functional team to plan, execute, and analyse ad campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end advertising strategy across E-commerce and Quick Commerce channels (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc.
- Develop and implement data-backed campaign strategies to maximize visibility, ROI, and revenue growth.
- Own the advertising P&L, ensuring efficient budget allocation and optimal spend utilization.
- Plan, monitor, and optimize paid media campaigns (CPC, display, sponsored listings) to improve ROAS and reduce acquisition costs.
- Collaborate with internal category, marketing, and design teams to align ad creatives and communication with business goals.
- Identify growth opportunities through audience segmentation, keyword optimization, and competitive benchmarking.
- Analyze campaign performance, track KPIs, and prepare dashboards and insights for leadership.
- Stay updated with platform trends, ad policy changes, and emerging tools to ensure campaign innovation and compliance.
- Work closely with external partners and marketplace account managers for visibility drives, brand days, and promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, with hands-on expertise in E-commerce and/or Quick Commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of ad ecosystems Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in Excel, Google Analytics, and marketplace dashboards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive revenue and efficiency.
Key KPIs:
- Revenue contribution from ads (Ecom + Q-com).
- Advertising ROI (RoAS).
- Cost per acquisition (CPA) / cost efficiency.
- Conversion rate and category visibility improvement.
- Campaign performance and budget utilisation efficiency.
