About the Role:
Join eClerx as a Senior Client Delivery Lead in Financial Analytics, where you will lead our analytics and data engineering services for one of our top-tier clients - a global leader in payment processing and financial services. This high-impact role involves devising growth strategies for data and analytics operations in the financial domain, managing P&L, and ensuring seamless daily delivery while fostering strong client relationships. As a trusted advisor to the client's executive team, you will guide the team to implement solutions that directly drive business value, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth in the financial services industry.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and provide strategic direction to cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with the client's business goals, particularly in the financial services and payment processing sectors.
- Collaborate with marketing, marketing technology, risk & controls, and automation teams to consult, design, and facilitate the seamless execution of financial analytics initiatives.
- Shape and execute the target operating model for financial data operations, data engineering, and advanced analytics teams, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Drive revenue growth by understanding client needs in the financial services domain, proposing innovative commercial constructs, and capitalizing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Take full accountability for recruiting and building a high-performing team of data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to support both Run-the-Business (RTB) and Change-the-Business (CTB) initiatives in financial analytics.
- Work closely with sales, consulting teams, and other senior stakeholders to explore new opportunities and transform business processes using data-driven solutions.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and champion the adoption of cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and technologies specific to financial analytics, risk management, and fraud detection.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or any related quantitative discipline. An advanced degree in Financial Engineering or Data Science is a plus.
- At least 15+ years of experience in Data Management, Financial Analytics, Decision Science, or a related field, with a focus on managing P&L in a client-facing, senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience in services/consulting, particularly building and leading large-scale financial analytics businesses across industries such as Banking, Insurance, Payment Processing, and Financial Services.
- Proven track record of leading high-growth teams, with hands-on experience in recruiting, scaling, and managing geographically dispersed, high-performing teams.
- Experience in influencing and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across financial services, including business leaders, technology teams, and risk & compliance functions.
- Deep understanding of the regulatory environment affecting financial services and payment processing (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, AML, KYC).
