Description:
The Content Head leads the vision, strategy, and execution of the entire cybersecurity learning content portfolio. This role oversees content innovation, acquisition, development, and delivery across all formats, including video courses, microlearning, labs, cyber ranges, certification pathways, and enterprise upskilling programs. The position requires a strong blend of cybersecurity domain knowledge, instructional design leadership, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to serve global learners and enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy: Develop a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and market demands. This includes defining the vision for the company's cybersecurity eLearning products across many stakeholders including external customers, sales, customer success, engineering, design, etc.
- Market Research: Stay current with cybersecurity industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings through market research. Use this information to inform product development decisions.
- Quality Control: Coordinate with product development managers, instructional designers, content developers, and technologists to conduct a peer review and implement quality control.
- Innovation: Drive innovation enhances the effectiveness and engagement of training programs. Use forecasting and complex data signals to identify learner career paths, skills, and content to meet consumer, enterprise, and degree learner demand
- Content Acquisition: Driving strategic acquisition of content, including identifying and cultivating ideas and ongoing projects that align with our objectives.
- Industry Collaboration: Build and nurture relationships within research communities across several subject areas, leveraging networking skills to foster author engagement and collaboration.
- Product Launch: Coordinate with marketing, sales, and development team to drive product launch.
- Customer Feedback: Focus on understanding customer needs, pain points, behaviours and preferences, organise surveys and invent new delightful experiences.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that eLearning products meet all necessary cybersecurity and educational regulatory compliance requirements.
- Performance Measurement: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of eLearning products, adjusting as needed.
Characteristics:
- A strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and trends is essential for making informed decisions about the content and direction of cybersecurity eLearning products.
- The Content Head should have a strategic mindset to define the long-term vision and goals for the company's product offerings and how they fit into the market.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams in product development efforts.
- An openness to exploring new technologies and learning methods to keep the company's eLearning products fresh and effective.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, using analytics and customer feedback to guide product improvements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey product strategies, visions, and value propositions to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving cybersecurity threats is crucial for success in this role.
- A customer-centric approach, understanding customer needs and tailoring product offerings to meet those needs.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on product management experience - both outbound and inbound, in a fast-paced agile development environment
- 5+ years of management experience leading a group of PM's
- Self-starter with strong creative problem-solving, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in discussing technical details with engineers & product design while also clearly communicating at a high level with leadership, sales, marketing, and customers
