Oracle EBS Projects Consultant

Responsibilities:

- Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle EBS Projects modules (Project Costing, Billing, Contracts, Project Accounting).

- Support business users in daily project operations including project setup, cost collection, billing events, and revenue processing.

- Understand and document end-to-end project lifecycle processes and cross-module integrations with Finance and SCM.

- Perform functional analysis, issue resolution, and root cause analysis for project-related issues.

- Support period close activities related to projects, including cost transfer, billing, and revenue recognition.

- Lead end-to-end enhancements including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Manage configurations, flexfields, and setups related to project structures, burdening, and billing.

- Coordinate with technical teams for custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.

- Provide functional guidance to business users on best practices and system usage.

- Prepare and maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and KT materials.

- Ensure SLA adherence and participate in operational and governance reviews.

Qualifications (Academic & Professional):

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Technology.

- 10+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Projects modules in support or implementation roles.

- Strong experience with Oracle Projects Costing, Billing, Contracts, Project Manufacturing and Accounting.

- Solid understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle management in MRO or engineering-driven environments.

- Experience with integrations between Projects, Finance, SCM, and cMRO modules.

- Experience in managed services delivery with SLA and KPI accountability.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.

- Good communication skills to work with business, finance, and operations teams.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Skills:

- Strong understanding of project accounting and cost management.

- Oracle EBS Projects end-to-end lifecycle knowledge.

- Experience in managed services/support environments.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

- Project Blueprint Accounting.
