Role Overview
Role Summary:
NATIONAL BUSINESS HEAD P&L OWNER - FURNITURE BUSINESS EXPANSION
The Business Head will lead the entire Daewoo Appliances and consumer durable business vertical with full P & L ownership. This role is responsible for devising and executing strategies to
- Scale & Franchise Appointments
- Showroom retail sales
- Institutional Sales
- Procurements
- Warehouse and distribution
- Manage dealer network
- World class after sales service and
- Deliver sustainable, profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Own and drive the P&L for Daewoo Appliances across all business lines.
- Define the long-term vision, strategy, and annual business plans aligned with corporate objectives.
- Translate business goals into executable sales, marketing, and operational plans with measurable KPIs.
Franchise Appointments
- Lead generation and Franchise Appointments for showrooms etc
Retail Sales & GTM Execution
- Lead franchise -operated showroom sales, ensuring strong revenue growth and market penetration.
- Develop effective go-to-market strategies for both direct sales (showrooms / retail/ Institutions) and partner channels.
- Forecast and achieve targeted sales, revenue, and profitability goals.
- Establish KPI frameworks for showroom performance and dealer sales metrics.
Manufacturing & Supply Chain
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners and internal production teams to ensure timely, cost-efficient product availability and quality.
- Drive demand forecasting, inventory planning, and production alignment with market needs.
- Implement efficient logistics, warehousing, and distribution mechanisms to ensure seamless delivery to dealers and customers.
Distribution & Dealer Management
- Build and manage a robust distribution network of dealers and channel partners across markets.
- Set performance benchmarks, incentives, and support mechanisms for dealers.
NATIONAL BUSINESS HEAD P&L OWNER - FURNITURE BUSINESS EXPANSION
- Implement structured training and engagement programs to elevate partner performance and brand advocacy.
After-Sales & Customer Experience
- Establish an industry-leading after-sales service framework, including service network expansion, SLA definitions, spare parts availability, and customer feedback loops.
- Monitor service KPIs: uptime, response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction (NPS/CSAT).
- Champion service excellence to drive repeat purchase and brand loyalty.
Brand & Marketing
- Work closely with marketing to position Daewoo as a preferred brand in the appliances category.
- Oversee brand campaigns, product launches, digital initiatives, and marketplace presence.
- Ensure alignment between sales strategies and brand positioning.
Finance & Compliance
- Approve budgets, allocate resources, and ensure cost discipline to meet profitability targets.
- Partner with finance to analyze financial performance, identify improvement areas, and take corrective actions.
- Ensure all compliance, statutory, and regulatory requirements are met.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
- MBA/PG in Business, Marketing, Operations, or equivalent.
- 15+ years of leadership experience with strong P&L ownership in Home appliances, Electronics retail, consumer durables, appliances, or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, distribution excellence, and customer service delivery.
- Experience in scaling field sales / showroom networks and managing multi-city operations.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, production planning, and dealer channel economics.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in launching or scaling brands in the Indian market.
- Background in manufacturing/distribution operations.
Salary Package
- Salary Package will be approximately 25 LPA to 40 LPA
Reporting To
- You will report to the CEO of EBG Group
Working Days
- Monday to Saturday Working (6 days a week), Timings - 10 am to 7pm
