Role Overview
Role Summary:
To lead, scale, and profitably operate the Health, wellness Mobility & Assisted Living, Rehabilitation retail vertical across India with full P&L responsibility.
Business Head P&L Owner Rehabilitation, Health & wellness Mobility
The role will drive FOCO investor onboarding, store setup from pre-opening to inauguration, product sourcing & procurement, and day-to-day store operations, ensuring sustainable profitability at unit and network level.
Business Scope

- Personal Mobility
- Relief Kits & Pain Management
- Toileting Aids & Daily Living Support
- Elderly Care
- Pregnancy Care
- Special Needs
- Bed-Based & Home Care Solutions
Operating through:
- Company-owned stores (FOCO)
- Omni-channel retail (offline + online)
- Institutional and B2C customers
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&L Ownership & Business Performance
- Own complete P&L for the vertical: revenue, gross margins, operating costs, EBITDA.
- Define annual and quarterly business plans, budgets, and growth targets.
- Track unit economics at store, city, and cluster level.
- Ensure each store reaches breakeven and profitability timelines.
- Drive margin optimization through pricing, sourcing, and inventory efficiency.
2. FOCO Investor Acquisition & Management
- Lead FOCO investor sales and onboarding.
- Create investor pitch decks, ROI models, and financial projections.
- Evaluate investor profiles, locations, and market potential.
- Manage investor relationships post-launch to ensure business performance.
- Ensure FOCO compliance to brand SOPs and operational standards.
3. Store Launch: Pre-Opening to Inauguration
- Oversee end-to-end store setup, including:
o Location finalization & feasibility
o Store layout, fixtures, signage & branding
o Product mix planning and opening inventory
o Hiring & training of store staff
- Drive store inauguration planning & execution.
- Ensure operational readiness before go-live.

4. Product Strategy, Sourcing & Procurement
- Identify and onboard high-quality domestic and international suppliers.
- Curate product portfolio aligned to:
o Customer needs
o Margin targets
o Clinical relevance and usability
- Lead price negotiations, vendor contracts, and supply chain planning.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels with minimal dead stock.
- Introduce private label / exclusive products where feasible.
5. Retail Operations & Daily Management
- Own daily store operations across all locations.
- Implement SOPs for:
o Sales & customer consultation
o Product demos & trials
o After-sales service & returns
o Hygiene, safety, and compliance
- Monitor store KPIs: footfall, conversion, Average Order Value, repeat sales.
- Ensure consistent customer experience across all stores.
6. Sales Growth & Customer Experience
- Drive revenue growth through:
o Consultative selling
o Cross-selling and bundled solutions
o Institutional and referral partnerships (hospitals, clinics, physiotherapists)
- Build a care-oriented retail experience (trust, empathy, guidance).
- Improve customer retention and lifetime value.
7. Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Build and lead central and field teams across:
o Sales
o Operations
o Supply chain
- Define performance metrics and incentive structures.
- Train teams on product knowledge, care sensitivity, and retail excellence.
- Create a performance-driven, ownership-oriented culture.
8. Governance, Reporting & Compliance
- Present periodic performance reviews to leadership.
- Ensure statutory, medical device, and retail compliance.
- Drive data-led decision making using MIS and dashboards.
- Ensure brand standards and ethical business practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 15-20 years of experience in retail, healthcare retail, medical devices, mobility products, or wellness businesses.
- Proven experience handling end-to-end P&L.
- Strong background in FOCO / franchise / multi-store retail operations.
- Experience in store launches at scale.
- Exposure to product sourcing, procurement, and vendor negotiations.

Education
- MBA / PGDM preferred (Operations, Retail, Strategy, Finance)

Salary Package
- Salary Package will be approximately 25 LPA to 40 LPA
Reporting To
- You will report to the CEO of EBG Group
Working Days
- Monday to Saturday Working (6 days a week), Timings 10 am to 7pm
Joining Time
- Within Max 30 days.
Reporting Office
- You will be based at our new EBG Group Central Office, Hitec City Area, Hyderabad
