Eastman Exports - Assistant Compliance Manager

The individual would be responsible for ensuring their organizational and business processes comply with government regulations.

Their duties are diverse and can range from conducting risk assessments to advising the management



Roles & Responsibilities:

- Developing, implementing, and managing an organizations compliance standard.

- Preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports.

- Interacting with regulators on compliance issues.

- Coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations.

- Program Prepare and keep the documentation related to the audit and compliance.

- Assist in developing, implementing, maintaining, and reviewing company policies, rules, and regulations in compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

- To monitor the floor for checking all kinds of compliance issues.

- To motivate the employees to maintain all kinds of personal safety.

- Train all employees on all safety awareness issues and maintain all kinds of training records.

- To make the employees aware of health and safety issues.

- Ensure the factories are in compliance with social ethics, health and safety requirements, etc.

- To find out the non-compliance issues through the daily monitoring and internal audit in the factory.

- Conduct internal audits in light of labor law, factory rules, buyer COC, and other national and international legal instruments.

- Monitor compliance certifications for BSCI, ICS, SEDEX, SA 8000, SCAN and WRAP.

- Handle their different audits according to the buyers requirements.

- Implement accord/alliance (fire, electrical, and structural) in coordination with safety, welfare, NGO's, and factory production staff.

- Maintain every compliance mechanism and tool internally through a weekly, monthly, and yearly comparative statistical report and tool.

- Give suggestions to the management regarding several important pronouncements and decisions of the law and other COCs for the growth of the company.

- Conduct in-house training for all employees on maintaining COC.

- Review and update all legal documents, certificates, and licenses from time to time by communicating with HR.

- Conducting weekly and monthly meetings with the team


Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in compliance, risk management, or a related role, preferably in manufacturing or factory environments.

- Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory regulations, and international compliance certifications (BSCI, SEDEX, SA 8000, etc.)

- Experience in conducting audits, gap analysis, and compliance reporting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and documentation abilities.

- Ability to lead training programs and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

- Proficient in compliance tracking and reporting tools
