We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager (Controller) to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, compliance, and strategic planning to drive our company's financial success.

Role: Finance Manager (Controller).
What You'll Do:
- Ensure VAT and tax filings (P11d, PSA, CT) are completed and submitted on time, maintaining full compliance with legal and tax obligations.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals for accurate reporting.
- Upload trial balances and financial results into the group reporting system (Tagetik) and support Group Finance with ad hoc information requests.
- Assist with US entity filings in coordination with external accountants and take ownership of key processes such as payroll.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and oversee all aspects of the balance sheet, statutory accounts, and audit coordination.
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures, driving efficiency and ensuring audit readiness.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and payment processes, supporting treasury management and investment decisions.
- Implement and monitor invoicing schedules to optimize cash flow and ensure timely billing post-enrolment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and transparency across business units.
- Lead and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on technical accounting and professional development.
What Were Looking For:
- Fully Qualified Accountant - CIMA / ACCA / ACA (or country equivalent).
- 8+ years of experience in financial accounting or audit, ideally within professional services or multi-entity organizations.
- Strong technical expertise in UK GAAP and IFRS, with proven experience in month-end close, statutory reporting, and audits.
- Commercially aware professional with the ability to provide strategic financial insights and add business value.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with modern accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, and Sage Intacct.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
