The Role:

This is a senior leadership role where you will be the chief architect of Fibes payments business. You will lead the zero-to-one journey of UPI and bill payments, with full ownership of strategy, execution, and financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Zero-to-One Build: Lead the setup of Fibe's UPI PSP/TPAP stack, BBPS integration, and rent-on-credit-card offerings, working with NPCI, RBI, partner banks, and card networks.

- P&L Ownership: Define the business model, revenue levers (MDR, interchange, value-added services), and drive profitability.

- Ecosystem Partnerships: Establish and manage relationships with NPCI, banks, card networks, billers, and technology partners.

- Regulatory & Compliance: Ensure all products comply with NPCI/RBI frameworks; set up fraud risk and dispute management systems.

- Consumer Growth: Drive adoption and usage by designing payment use-cases, loyalty/rewards, and seamless integration with Fibe's lending ecosystem.

- Product Leadership: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to deliver a smooth, secure, and differentiated consumer experience.

- Team Building: Hire and lead a high-performing team for payments, fostering innovation and accountability.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience: 5-8 years in fintech/payments, with direct experience of building and scaling UPI, BBPS, or equivalent consumer payment products.

Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of UPI PSP/TPAP models, BBPS architecture, rent-on-credit card flows, risk/fraud systems, and NPCI/RBI regulations.

Proven Execution: Demonstrated success in taking a payment product from setup to scale (consumer adoption, DAU/MAU growth, monetization).

Networked Operator: Deep working relationships with banks, NPCI, card networks, and payment ecosystem players.

Leadership: Track record of managing cross-functional teams, with ability to operate in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.

Education: MBA or equivalent degree preferred, but not mandatory if experience is strong.
