Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Develop and manage annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Conduct variance analysis between actual and forecasted results, highlighting key trends and insights.
- Assist leadership in understanding financial implications of operational decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
Financial Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, MIS reports, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of financial activities, processes, and controls.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Analyze business performance, market trends, and financial risks to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with business units to assess ROI, feasibility studies, and investment opportunities.
- Evaluate pricing models, cost structures, and operational improvements.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor company cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and fund allocation.
- Manage banking relationships and ensure efficient handling of payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Prepare cash forecasts and manage financial instruments as needed.
Compliance, Audit & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, tax laws, and financial governance policies.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
- Identify financial risks, implement internal controls, and strengthen compliance frameworks.
Process Improvement & Automation:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes through automation and standardization.
- Implement best practices in accounting, reporting, and financial operations.
- Partner with the technology team to automate reporting, analytics, and reconciliation tasks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with operations, HR, procurement, and leadership teams to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Provide financial training and guidance to non-finance stakeholders for better operational understanding
