Business Development Manager - e-GMAT (Remote) 1.1 ABOUT US: e-GMAT is on a mission to make online test prep more effective than private tutoring. We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to engage with prospective students, represent e-GMAT on social media, and provide exceptional customer service to help students determine if e-GMAT is right for them. Engage with prospective students (via zoom) to understand their needs and goals, and guide them on whether e-GMAT is the optimal prep solution for them 2. Serve as the face of e-GMAT on social media platforms, interacting with our community and sharing valuable content 3. Promptly respond to inquiries from prospective students via chat, email and other channels, providing clear and helpful information 4. Collaborate with the marketing team on strategies and campaigns to drive awareness and enrollments 5. Achieve monthly targets for engaging with prospective students and converting them to customers 1.3 REQUIREMENTS: The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of CAT/GMAT/GRE/SAT and the hardships that a potential student goes through. In addition, they should possess excellent listening skills, wherein they should be able to understand students' needs and create compelling solutions for them. The ideal candidate shall also possess an ability to build trust and rapport with students. In addition, since this is a remote position, you should know how to prioritize and manage your time. A large aspect of the job is also writing to customers, so you should know how to convey your points in a structure manner through emails and chats. At e-GMAT, we make extensive use of AI, so a knowledge of prompting in ChatGPT is a huge plus. Fixed component: INR 8 to 12 LPA Performance Bonus: - INR 1 to 4 LPA (Min threshold - 1 lac) 1.5 LOCATION AND TIMINGS: Remote (Work from Home) 1.6 RECRUITMENT PROCESS: The recruitment process is based on four rounds of starting with an Video cover letter, and followed by 30-minute personal interview, followed by three written assignments, and final face to face interview. 1.7 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: What is the primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager at e-GMAT? Our prospects proactively book calls with our BD teams to address very specific doubts they have. Q: How many prospects will I work with in a month? A. You would typically work with between 90 to 140 prospects per month. Our regular conversion rates are about 55%. Q: What is the compensation package for this role? A: The compensation package is commensurate with experience and at par with the best in the industry. The fixed component ranges from INR 8 to 12 LPA, with a performance bonus of INR 1 to 4 LPA (minimum threshold of 1 lac). Q: What is the recruitment process for this position?
