Manager/ Revenue Management, SAP back end processes/SAP Finance Certification Key Purpose of the Job (Position Summary) : The role will responsible for: - Revenue accounting, providing Revenue Assurance, managing audit and tax requirements - Understand revenue accounting processes, extracting reports, reversal and provision of unbilled revenue - Revenue and Sales Volume tallying - Help to Implement, manage and innovate using the world class Billing Revenue & Innovation Management (BRIM) software procured by the company - Understand SAP ECC processes, check files not updated etc, learn and transition activity from existing team member - Create and run T codes etc Key Result Areas : Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the following activities, Responsible for the following activities Revenue Management & Billing: - Meet internal as well as contractual deadlines, review of invoices and revenue recognition. - Communicate effectively with staff as well as the various departments that play a role in the Billing and A/R functions. - Coordinate the compilation of Unbilled, Billed and Deferred roll-forward account reconciliations at the activity and general ledger level. - Oversee the reconciliation of other activity related accounts such as: revenue, unbilled receivables and accounts receivable - Leads process improvement initiatives, finding solutions to complex billing, revenue and accounts receivable issues. - Support revenue audit requests and special projects as assigned - Support dispute resolution and credit note issuance process Partner Billing : - Set up contracts for delivery partners/vendors which are covered under the program of partner billing - Ensure timely billing on the company on behalf of vendors and partners - Ensure automation and communication invoicing, tax etc to partners/vendors Specific Projects : - Help monitor and Implement world class Billing Revenue & Innovation Management (BRIM) software procured by the company - Support centralisation of billing processes as far as possible while improving productivity People : - Interact with various business teams and provide analysis and inputs as needed - Define KPIs, monitor performance against KPIs Key Functions & Responsibilities: Primary tasks & responsibilities that are specific to this position. This is an estimate of percent of work time spent on each - over the span of the year (it should not exceed 100%) % of Time Strategic 10% Operational 60% Developmental 30% Key Skills/Experience Required : Has sound knowledge of revenue accounting and recognition processes. SAP certification or hands on exposure would be necessary. Experience in implementation of IT systems will be a plus. Key Challenges of the Job.Key challenges will be : 1) New system being implemented 2) High volume of transactions. 3) System and related outputs and consistency of those. 4) Manage nationally distributed set up. 5) Understand business complexity. PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS : Technical skills - Experience in accounting and interacting with auditors Exposure to ERP Solution, Excel and PPT. Previous role related experience - Accounting, provisions. Billing and /or accounting experience in large organisations or leadership roles in smaller ones Desired attitudes or behavior (competencies) - Can do attitude and ability to execute Self-Driven, Creative and passionate,Should have problem solving ability People based experience - Potential to manage team, communicate with business teams
