About the Role

DTDC is looking for a high-impact Manager - E-commerce Category Strategy & Growth. This is a critical sell-side role focused on optimizing category health, executing growth programs, and scaling revenue aggressively.

Key Responsibilities

Growth Ownership: Own the growth strategy for your assigned categories, focusing on user acquisition, retention, and engagement.

Sell-Side Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive category plans, manage supplier/vendor relationships, and negotiate terms to optimize platform inventory and category health.

Program Leadership: Lead large-scale initiatives from concept to completion, tracking milestones, resolving operational bottlenecks, and ensuring timely target delivery.

Data-Driven Performance: Monitor category and SKU health, track sales trends, and minimize inventory waste through optimized demand forecasting.

Analysis & Insight: Conduct structured market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic bridge between Marketing, Product, and Operations to translate category vision into actionable execution.

What You Bring

Experience: 4+ years in Category Management or Growth Management, with hands-on sell-side experience (managing brands/vendors on a platform).

E-commerce Expertise: Strong practical experience in app growth, user acquisition, and implementing data-driven growth strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and using insights to make informed strategic decisions.

Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with growth marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and passion for understanding consumer behavior.
