Job Description:
Location: Mumbai (Goregaon)
Working Days: Monday - Saturday
Time: 9:30AM - 6:00PM
Role: Assistant Zonal Channel Manager
Overview:
The role is responsible to grow the existing channel partnerships and establish new retail channel sales. This would call for appointing and running a healthy network of franchisees in market to achieve desired sales numbers. The position is also responsible for training and developmental needs of the channel workforce and the franchisees in the respective zone.
Key Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC / TACTICAL:
- Develop new and taking care of existing channel partners and managing team of existing selling associations for improved performance
- Ensure partner compliances with sales polices of DTDC
- Explore new opportunities while continuing to develop the existing ones in the respective zone
- Recruit and select manpower; train and lead channel sales force and sales representatives based on the needs
- Provide market information (competition, potential and market data) to the channel partners in the zone and also to the overall business
- Provide inputs in finalization of the revenue/ sales targets for the set of partners being handled
OPERATIONAL:
- Manage & drive multi-city sales team within the zone, target planning, distribution & tracking
- Monitor And Report on marketing activities and provide relevant management information aligned with the centralized marketing team
- Take feedback on customer requirement with respect to new products and services
- Overlook and ensure maintenance of ambience in the stores to improve customer experience based on the feedbacks
- Ensure that the correct product mix is being displayed and promoted through the channel partners in respective franchisees
- Impart on-the-job training to improve product knowledge and selling skills of channel sales team
- Provide support in implementation of company policies for planned market share
- Ensure day to day smooth running of channel operations particularly on deliveries as per promise & other dealer related issues
