Position: Manager - Finance Strategy & Business Planning

Function: Finance / Business Planning

Core responsibility :

1. Monitor daily operational dashboards

2. Detect deviations from defined KPAs/KRIs

3. Alert teams and HODs immediately

4. Escalate unresolved issues

5. Recommend corrective actions

6. Present Chairman daily/weekly review reports

Purpose:

To translate business plans into measurable financial outcomes through strategic financial planning, performance monitoring, cash flow governance, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive budgeting, financial forecasting, and annual business planning activities.

- Monitor daily cash flow, collections, receivables, and payment cycles to ensure financial discipline.

- Prepare and publish business MIS, financial dashboards, and management reports.

- Conduct variance analysis between budgets, forecasts, and actual business performance.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency improvements.

- Perform investment feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and financial risk assessments.

- Track payment delays, receivable aging, and working capital performance.

- Escalate financial risks, deviations, and compliance concerns to leadership.

- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis and business insights.

- Coordinate with departments to ensure adherence to budgets and financial controls.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- MBA from premier institutes, preferably IIMs, with specialization in Finance.

- CA + MBA preferred.

- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, MIS, and business analytics.

- Experience in cash flow management, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

- Proficiency in financial reporting tools, Excel, dashboards, and ERP systems.

- Cost optimization and profitability analysis

- Business MIS and financial governance systems
