Manager / Sr. Manager - F&A (financial reporting & consolidation + FP&A)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with strong experience in financial reporting and consolidation to manage group-level financials, ensure compliance with Ind AS, and support business decision-making through robust MIS and analytics. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders, auditors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Consolidation:

- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

- Manage end-to-end group consolidation including inter-company eliminations, minority interest, and foreign subsidiaries (if applicable).

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.

MIS, Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead preparation of MIS reports including variance analysis, business performance dashboards, and actionable insights.

- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across business units.

- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Audit & Compliance:

- Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors for smooth audit closure.

- Ensure adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.

- Drive standardization and automation of reporting processes.

Systems & Process Excellence:

- Work extensively on SAP S/4HANA for financial reporting and consolidation activities.

- Leverage advanced MS Excel for data analysis, reporting automation, and dashboarding.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implementation of FP&A / consolidation tools.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business finance, operations, tax, treasury).

- Engage with senior management to present financial insights and support strategic decisions.

- Ensure timely communication and closure of inter-departmental dependencies.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6-8 years of post-qualification experience.

- Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and group accounting.

- Good working knowledge of Ind AS (especially consolidation-related standards).

- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.

- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a Corporate / FMCG/FMCD or any other Manufacturing with work exposure in group reporting environment.

- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-geography financial consolidation.
