Droom - Senior Manager - Finance

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Finance to lead and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with 4+ years of experience in managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace, or tech-driven businesses.

This role involves strategic financial management, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making to support hyper-growth and scalability. Candidates with more experience may be considered for an Associate Director of Finance role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Business Intelligence

- Develop and execute annual budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic business plans. Work closely with management, business units, and cost/profit centers to align financial strategies.

- Conduct variance analysis, unit cost analysis, and financial modeling to provide actionable insights.

- Utilize business intelligence tools (BI), dashboards, and data analytics to track financial KPIs.

2. Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Prepare and oversee monthly financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and MIS reports.

- Ensure timely and accurate closing of books of accounts, adhering to GAAP/IFRS.

Manage external reporting, investor communication, and board presentations.

3. Compliance, Taxation & Regulatory Affairs

- Ensure compliance with RBI, ROC, SEBI, and other regulatory bodies.

- Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings.

Implement internal controls and financial risk management policies.

4. Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Management

- Supervise billing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliation processes.

Optimize working capital management and cash flow planning.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

- Partner with marketing, business development, operations, and technology teams to drive financial efficiency.

- Lead and mentor a high-performance finance team, ensuring process automation and efficiency.

- Implement financial technologies (ERP, automation tools, AI-driven finance solutions) for scalability.

6. Audit, Compliance & Due Diligence Management

- Lead and manage internal, statutory, and financial audits, including due diligence processes.

- Ensuring compliance, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with auditors and stakeholders.
