About the Role:

Dream11 is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead the development and scaling of an AI-first sports fan engagement platform serving a massive and growing user base.

This is a senior engineering leadership role focused on building highly scalable technology, enabling engineering autonomy across the organization, and leading teams and infrastructure capable of supporting hyper-growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build and scale an AI-first sports fan engagement platform for 250M+ existing fans and a growing user base.

- Enable Dream11 teams to independently build and launch features by providing the right engineering tools, platforms, and developer capabilities.

- Scale the new AI platform to support 100M+ active users annually.

- Own and evolve a lean, reliable, and highly scalable infrastructure capable of supporting 10M+ concurrent users.

- Drive engineering strategy and execution for high-scale, consumer-facing products.

- Lead engineering teams and foster a culture of ownership, autonomy, reliability, and rapid execution.

- Ensure systems are designed for high availability, scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Drive adoption and effective use of AI across engineering and product development.

Qualifiers:

- 10+ years of engineering experience in highly scaled technology companies or hyper-growth startups.

- 5+ years of experience leading mid-to-large engineering teams.

- Proven experience building and operating high-scale consumer technology platforms.

- Strong understanding of large-scale distributed systems, infrastructure, scalability, and reliability.

- Strong interest and hands-on adoption of AI tools and technologies.

- Must be a power AI user, both personally and professionally.

- Strong engineering leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities.
