Key Responsibilities:

1. Occupational Health Strategy & Governance:

- Define and implement enterprise-wide Occupational Health (OH) strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements

- Establish standardized policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks across sites

- Lead OHC (Occupational Health Center) setup, expansion (20+ OHCs), and operational excellence

2. Workplace Health & Compliance:

- Ensure full compliance with statutory health regulations (Factories Act, local health laws, global standards where applicable)

- Drive periodic audits, inspections, and corrective action frameworks

- Own end-to-end Health Compliance across manufacturing and R&D environments

3. Employee Health & Wellness:

- Design and deploy a comprehensive Employee Wellness Framework (physical, mental, and preventive health)

- Lead initiatives for mental wellness, stress management, and resilience programs

- Implement proactive health programs including vaccination, ergonomics, chronic disease management, etc.

4. Health Risk Management:

- Conduct Health Risk Assessments (HRA) across manufacturing operations and R&D labs

- Develop mitigation strategies for occupational hazards (chemical exposure, biological risk, ergonomic risks)

- Partner with EHS teams to integrate health risk insights into workplace safety systems

5. Digital Health & Data Management:

- Drive adoption of digital health tools and platforms for OHCs and employee health tracking

- Ensure robust health data management, confidentiality, and analytics-driven decision making

- Leverage technology for predictive health insights and reporting dashboards

6. OHC Operations & Capability Building:

- Oversee hiring, capability building, and performance management of OHC teams (Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics)

- Standardize clinical protocols, emergency response systems, and occupational health practices across sites

- Build strong internal and external medical networks

7. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, HR, EHS, and Leadership teams

- Interface with regulatory bodies, auditors, hospitals, and external partners

- Drive awareness and culture of health & wellness across the organization

Educational qualification: Graduation in Medicine (MBBS) is mandatory

Registration with the National Medical Council is mandatory

Certification in AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) is mandatory

Certification in NEBOSH is preferred
