PURPOSE: To provide analytics, modeling and research support for strategic planning and reporting.  EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: BE/BTech from premier institute (IITs, NITs, BITS, etc) with 2-3 yrs experience in Business Analytics & Research including financial modeling, statistical analytics, market research, etc. in the pharmaceutical industry.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  1. Financial Modeling  - Gather and analyze the product, financial, market (regulatory and competitive), and economic information for forecasting revenues and costs to generate profit and loss statements for future.  - Gather and analyze data from various departments, consolidate and compare to understand the impact of the decisions on price, stability, future trends, risks and economic influences.  - Build models to improve review and thereby strengthening financial status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends and generating actionable insights.  2. Business Decision Models  - Creating and maintaining other business decision models like production plan, procurement plan, transfer pricing model, etc.  - Work closely with business partners to determine requirements and develop functional designs based on the analysis of line of business needs, objectives and existing systems infrastructure.  3. Research & Analytics Support  - Monitor market/industry trends, gather data and facts, and supply inputs to the strategic planning team with meaningful analysis, while focusing on a range of topics from product strategies to competitor profiles.  - Assist BU Leaders in developing tactical and strategic product, services and/ or programs to support the business unit’s goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).  - Analyze the business unit’s activities and trends and compares analyses against the service standards and best practices. Present findings and work with the Business Unit Leader and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.  DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE   - Strong analytical, quantitative, research and problem solving skills.  - Expertise in spreadsheet modeling techniques and methods.  - Excellent understanding of Corporate Finance concepts.  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation.  - Familiarity with various sources of information relevant to pharmaceutical business information.  - Familiarity with commercial issues related to pharmaceutical products.  - Understanding of key pharmaceutical market drivers  To apply, please click on the button below.
