Job Purpose

The Domestic Formulations Head will be responsible for leading and expanding the domestic formulations business with a strong focus on the Urology and Gynaecology therapeutic segments. The role involves driving revenue growth, strengthening brand presence, developing high-impact marketing strategies, and building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Business Development

- Define and execute domestic formulations strategy aligned with overall business objectives

- Drive revenue growth and market share in Urology and Gynaecology segments

- Identify new product opportunities, line extensions, and market gaps

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights

Brand Management & Market Execution

- Oversee brand planning, positioning, and lifecycle management

- Ensure effective launch and promotion of new and existing products

- Develop strong promotional strategies and marketing communication

- Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure flawless execution

Sales Force Enablement

- Work with sales leadership to align marketing initiatives with field execution

- Support training programs, product knowledge, and promotional effectiveness

- Track performance metrics and optimize strategies accordingly

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with R&D, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance teams

- Ensure timely availability of products and marketing materials

- Support portfolio planning and pipeline development

Team Leadership

- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution excellence

Key Requirements

- Must have experience in Urology and Gynaecology therapeutic categories

- Senior-level experience in domestic formulations marketing

- Proven track record of managing brands and driving business growth

- Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and execution capabilities

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Education & Experience

- Graduate / Post-graduate in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Management

- 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical formulations marketing

- Prior experience leading national or large-scale domestic businesses preferred
