
Domain Head: - Corporate Affairs at Hyundai Motor India Ltd is a senior executive role responsible for spearheading all corporate affairs functions, including government relations, regulatory compliance, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. This position ensures the company's interests align with national policies, especially in the dynamic automotive sector, while managing risks and fostering sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:-
This leadership role involves comprehensive oversight of strategic and operational aspects.
Policy and Regulatory Monitoring:
- Continuously track legislative, regulatory, and policy developments across automotive, economic, taxation, finance, and environmental domains.
- Analyze impacts on Hyundai's operations and provide actionable insights, reports, and recommendations to the executive leadership team for informed decision-making.
Advocacy and Representation:
- Develop and execute advocacy strategies on key issues like EV adoption, emissions standards, and trade policies.
- Represent Hyundai at high-level forums, industry associations (SIAM, FICCI, CII, ACMA), and government ministries (e.g., MoRTH, DHI, MoEFCC). Draft policy submissions, position papers, and speeches to influence favorable outcomes.
Government and Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain relationships with central/state governments, regulators, policymakers, and industry peers.
- Facilitate meetings, coordinate lobbying efforts, and manage crisis communications during regulatory scrutiny or policy shifts.
CSR and Sustainability Governance:
- Oversee corporate social responsibility initiatives, ensuring alignment with Hyundai's global standards and Indian regulations.
- Lead ESG reporting, community engagement, and sustainability advocacy to enhance brand reputation.
Internal Alignment and Risk Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, finance, operations) to integrate corporate affairs into business strategy.
- Conduct risk assessments on regulatory changes and advise on compliance frameworks.
Team Leadership:
- Manage a team of corporate affairs professionals, including hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
- Drive departmental KPIs focused on policy wins, stakeholder satisfaction, and risk mitigation.
