About The Job

Position Title: Manager/ Sr. Manager - Mid/ Senior Level - Brand Reputation Management

Department/ Function: Marketing Communications

Job Scope: India

Location: Noida

Reporting to: AVP Marketing

Work Setting: Onsite(Work from Office - 5 days a week)

Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a proactive Reputation Management personnel to safeguard and enhance organization's brand reputation across digital, media, and stakeholder channels. You will monitor online sentiment, manage crisis communications, build executive thought leadership, and drive strategies that align with business objectives. This role requires real-time responsiveness, strategic foresight, and collaboration with Marketing, Legal, PR, and leadership teams to mitigate risks and amplify positive narratives in a fast-paced tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Reputation Monitoring & Intelligence:

- Monitor brand mentions, sentiment, and emerging risks across social media, news, review sites, forums using tools like Brandwatch, Meltwater, or Google Alerts

- Analyze reputation metrics (e.g., Net Promoter Score, sentiment trends) and produce weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights

- Track competitor reputation and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities and threats

Crisis & Issues Management:

- Develop and execute crisis communication plans, response protocols, and escalation matrices

- Lead rapid response to negative publicity, security incidents, or executive controversies

- Coordinate cross-functional war rooms during crises, partnering with Legal, Security, and PR teams

Executive & Thought Leadership:

- Manage executive visibility on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and industry platforms; create content calendars and ghostwrite posts

- Build speaking opportunities, media placements, and awards nominations for C-suite leaders

- Position company as industry thought leader through whitepapers, webinars, and partnerships

Content & Digital Reputation:

- Oversee review management on G2, Capterra, TrustRadius; respond strategically to feedback

- Optimize SEO for branded search terms and suppress negative content through positive authority building

- Develop defensive content strategies (e.g., positive case studies, testimonials) to counter risks

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Cultivate relationships with journalists, analysts (Gartner, Forrester etc), and influencers

- Manage employee advocacy programs to amplify positive narratives internally and externally

- Collaborate with Customer Success on churn risks and retention messaging

Strategy & Reporting:

- Create annual reputation roadmap aligned with business goals and risk register

- Measure ROI of reputation initiatives through media value, sentiment shift, and revenue impact

- Present quarterly reputation scorecards to executive leadership

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism, or related field

- Experience: 8+ years in global experience in reputation management, PR, digital marketing, or crisis comms within tech/IT/AdTech/ IT services sector

- Technical Skills: Proficient in social listening tools (Brandwatch, Hootsuite), analytics (Google Analytics, SEMrush), CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot)

Required Competencies

- Exceptional written/verbal communication with crisis-ready composure

- Data-driven strategist comfortable with ambiguity and rapid pivots

- Strong judgment in navigating sensitive issues with Legal/Exec alignment

- Proactive, empathetic, and collaborative team player

Preferred Skills:

- Experience managing tech executive personal brands

- Crisis comms certification (e.g., PRSA, CIPR)

- Multilingual capabilities for global operations
