Senior Manager/Lead - Marketing & Communication
Job Summary:
This role will help build Oxymoney's brand visibility, drive digital growth, and improve how the brand shows up across social, website, performance, and content touchpoints. The person will work as an individual contributor, while managing agencies and partners, to ensure marketing plans are executed well and support business goals.
The role is suited for someone who understands payments, fintech or digital-first businesses, can balance brand and performance, and is comfortable working across content, campaigns, SEO, website management, events, and digital marketing.
Principal Accountabilities:
Brand:
- Create and monitor the brand guidelines.
- Act as a brand custodian and manage brand awareness, recall, and reputation; online and offline.
- Assist the team in the creation of video and print content.
- Execute all brand visibility implementations across all ATL, BTL
- Coordinate the appearance of all print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of the logo, brochures, etc.
- Communicate the brand guidelines and ensure adherence throughout the organization.
Social and Digital Marketing:
- Manage Oxymoney's presence across LinkedIn, META and other relevant digital channels.
- Build and execute a monthly content and campaign calendar aligned to brand and business priorities.
- Work with agencies to create and publish social media posts, digital creatives, videos, and campaign assets.
- Track content performance and recommend improvements based on engagement, reach, traffic, and lead quality.
SEO and Website Management:
- Own SEO planning and execution in partnership with the agency.
- Improve website visibility, keyword presence, and organic traffic through on-page, off-page, and technical SEO support.
- Manage website updates through CMS, including page changes, landing pages, blogs, banners, product updates, and campaign pages.
- Ensure the website is updated, accurate, and aligned with business, product, and compliance requirements.
Performance Marketing:
- Support planning and execution of digital campaigns across Google, Meta, and other relevant platforms.
- Work with agencies to optimize campaigns for traffic, leads, conversions, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor budgets, campaign performance, and reporting on a regular basis.
- Help improve landing page journeys and campaign messaging for better conversion.
Content Management:
- Develop and manage content across social, web, blogs, emailers, presentations, product pages, business communication and campaign assets.
- Ensure content is simple, sharp, compliant, and in line with Oxymoney's brand tone.
- Translate product features and business propositions into clear customer-friendly communication.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for approvals and inputs.
Creative Guidance:
- Brief and guide design, video, and content agencies on campaign requirements.
- Review agency output for quality, consistency, and relevance.
- Ensure creatives are aligned with the brand identity and business priorities.
Influencer and Partnership Marketing:
- Identify relevant creators, fintech voices, and business influencers where required.
- Support influencer outreach, campaign coordination, and content approvals.
- Track outcomes and brand relevance of such collaborations.
Events and Activations:
- Support planning and execution of events, partnerships, brand participation, and on-ground activations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for event-related communication and marketing support.
- Manage pre-event, live-event, and post-event content requirements.
Reporting and Stakeholder Management:
- Maintain regular reporting on campaign performance, social growth, website traffic, SEO progress, and lead outcomes.
- Coordinate with product, business, compliance, and leadership teams for updates and approvals.
- Manage agencies closely on timelines, output quality, and delivery standards.
Challenges:
- Managing multiple workstreams at the same time with limited internal bandwidth.
- Driving strong execution through agencies and vendors without direct in-house support.
- Ensuring consistency in brand messaging across social media, website, campaigns, and events.
- Working with tight budgets and still delivering meaningful marketing outcomes.
- Managing turnaround times from agencies, especially for quick changes or urgent requirements.
- Coordinating with different internal stakeholders for inputs, approvals, and feedback.
- Translating product, business, and compliance requirements into simple and effective marketing communication.
- Improving digital outcomes such as engagement, traffic, lead quality, and conversions in a measurable way.
- Keeping website content, campaigns, and communication updated in a timely manner.
- Handling changing priorities and urgent business asks without affecting delivery quality.
- Bringing structure, reporting discipline, and ownership into a lean execution setup.
Decisions:
- Which marketing priorities need immediate focus based on business goals and timelines.
- Decide the content and campaign calendar across social, digital, website, and performance marketing.
- How to allocate budgets across channels, agencies, campaigns, and events for better impact.
- Which campaigns, creatives, and messages are likely to work best for different audiences.
- What changes need to be made on the website and CMS to improve user journey, relevance, and conversion.
- Which SEO, performance, and content opportunities should be prioritised.
- Which influencers, partners, or event opportunities are relevant for the brand.
- How to brief agencies and what quality standards should be accepted before anything goes live.
- How to balance speed, quality, and cost while working with external partners.
- Decide what data, reports, and insights should be highlighted to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Postgraduate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Media
Work Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or growth marketing.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, payments, consumer tech, or a digital-first business would be preferred.
- Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing, SEO, CMS-led website management, and performance campaigns.
- Experience in working with agencies for content, design, media, SEO, and website updates.
- Good understanding of campaign reporting, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
