JOB PURPOSE
Lead the ERM work stream to drive review and implementation of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and policies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and drive implementation of risk management frameworks and policies for managing risks across the enterprise.
- Ensure that the risk assessment models are up to date reflecting business/operating model and regulatory changes (Must have experience in developing assessment models for Pillar II risks).
- Take ownership of the Enterprise Risk Dashboards for update to Risk Management Committee and Senior Management.
- Ensure proactive monitoring of risk through key risk indicators, building on the existing frameworks.
- Drive identification and assessment of operational risks and controls through risk and control self-assessments (R&CSA) and, product and process review.
- Drive roll out of comprehensive operational risk loss database (to collate and monitor operational risk related losses and effective mitigation).
- Ensure alignment of risk management practices with regulatory requirements and industry leading practices.
- Periodically review Risk Management policy, procedures, reporting templates and framework to ensure everything is up to date
Educational Qualifications:
Qualifications
Degree in business or CA; MBA preferred.
Work Experience:
- A senior executive with 7 - 12 years of experience in Risk Management within financial industry (Banks or NBFCs).
- Thorough understanding of Operational Risk Management frameworks, ISO 31000 and COSO ERM Framework.
- Must have experience in developing assessment models for Pillar II risks.
- Ability to lead discussions on risk identification, assessment, prioritization and mitigation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
- High level of commitment to quality work product, organizational ethics and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally.
