FUNCTION : LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
JOB TITLE : CONTENT DEVELOPMENT LEAD
Job Description:
- Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) & Identification for roles across functions (Operations, HR, Finance, etc.).
- Collaborate with Function Heads & SMEs to assess training needs.
- Develop curriculum and High-Level Design (HLD) after discussions with stakeholders and site visits.
- Observe role holders in Stores/DCs to gather insights and record findings.
- Design and develop content using ADDIE model, Instructional Design, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Adult Learning principles.
- Create Trainer & Participant Guides, PPTs, Pre/Post Training Assessments, and other training materials.
- Integrate diverse learning methodologies (classroom, videos, experiential learning, etc.).
- Prepare training collateral and ensure content is regionally suited (language and context).
- Write SOPs for various tasks using content writing techniques.
- Test and validate assessments on LMS/Moodle.
- Share best practices in content development.
- Assist with training implementation at various levels (Regional, Store, etc.).
- Conduct "Train the Trainer" sessions and provide feedback to facilitators.
- Develop content for easy conversion to online learning materials and coordinate with multimedia/graphic teams.
- Ensure content development stays within budget and follows schedule for timely training delivery.
- Measure content effectiveness and revise based on feedback.
- Foster a culture of learning and continuous development within the organization.
- Apply the Kirkpatrick model to measure training effectiveness.
- Supervise content development process, ensure team performance, and handle recruitment/induction of new team members.
- Track team progress, conduct reviews, and provide feedback (SWOT, Mid-Term, Annual Appraisals).
- Prepare MIS, trackers, and dashboards for team performance monitoring.
Skills & Experience:
- Candidate should have 10 years + experience.
- Excellent Verbal & Written Communication (English), Good Listening, Observation & Documentation skills, Time Management.
- Needs high degree of concentration, focus, eye for detail, perseverance. Ability to coordinate, collaborate, rework. Have good people skills and proven Leadership skills
